FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

BEFORE YOU BOOK

  • Supported tours allow you to focus on the cycling, and the guides will handle everything else. No need for hauling bulky saddle bags and soggy PB&Js - our support vehicle will transport your luggage, first-aid, backup gear, drinks, food, and have a comfy seat if you need a break. Plus, everything is planned in advance for you, so there’s no worrying about the route, meals, or hotels! Our guides will take care of everything.

  • Yes, riders must be 18 years or older. There is no upper age limit.

  • We hope to have options for non-riders in the future, but currently we cannot accommodate any non-riders on our tours.

BEFORE YOUR TOUR

  • To get the most enjoyment out of your tour you’ll want to be prepared, but training will look different for everyone. Check out the daily distance and elevation for your selected trip, and evaluate your current fitness level and how you’ve felt on similar rides. It’s always to good to get some riding in beforehand and our support vehicle is available to take a break in at any point throughout the day.

  • Our team will send a Recommended Packing List before your trip, but generally you’ll need gear for on and off the bike (i.e. padded shorts, rain gear, casual clothes, and personal items). We also advise that you test out anything new you’re bringing beforehand to ensure you’re comfortable in it.

  • Safety is important to us, so if there are any dangerous conditions, we may delay, adjust, or cancel that day’s riding. Guides will keep you updated on all decisions and always offer a ride in the support vehicle if you do not wish to ride due to weather or any other reason. Light rain will likely NOT change the day’s plans, which is why we recommend bringing rain gear.

  • Our team will send you forms asking for all of the above and if we have any questions, we’ll let you know. If you’d like to discuss anything before you book, please contact us directly to ensure we can accommodate and provide you the best and safest experience possible.

ON YOUR TOUR

  • There will always be a guide in the rear of the group ensuring no rider is left behind, no matter the pace. Our support vehicle is also always available for you to take a break from cycling, so we recommend taking this as an opportunity to push yourself, since you always have the support vehicle as a backup!

  • Our team will provide you with all the Ride With GPS routes for your trip before you arrive. It’s common for riders to ride at different paces within a group, so it is highly recommended that each guest have some form of Bike Computer/GPS or phone mount on their bicycle to use these files. While the Guide will generally be more familiar with and leading the route, they might be in front or back of you at any time.

If you get separated from the group, you can contact any of the Guides cycling or driving the Support Vehicle to get you back on track.
